During a not-unusually heated discussion on our regular 7.48am train to London, my boyfriend hissed at me, spittle-flying and gimlet-eyed, "Don't ever try to suppress my creativity." Naturally, I chortled at his pomposity... OK, I am exaggerating somewhat (the spittle part) but he got me thinking. Lots of us are a bit stifled 9-5, Mon-Fri and of late I have been especially so. But outside of that, I do and see and read and buy and hear and make plenty of things that make me feel the very opposite of stifled. They make me feel curious, purposeful, connected, appreciative, homely, joyful and, um, creative. And this blog is a celebration of those things, which I would like to share with you...
